Chiropractic is the art and science of healing.  Chiropractic encompasses a range of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by prevention and treatment of back and neck pain, and associated conditions.Specifically, chiropractic is a health care profession that diagnosis, treats, and helps prevent disorders and conditions related to the spine, nervous system, and musculoskeletal system.

Doctors of Chiropractic are primary health care professionals.  Chiropractors believe in treating the whole individual, practicing without drugs or surgery.  Central to the treatment is the adjustment, which is a gentle, directed, safe treatment to help restore health.  In addition to clinical treatment, your chiropractor can be a good source of nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise information.Chiropractors are highly trained with a minimum of 7 years of post-secondary education, and have to undergo an extensive licensing process in order to practice.  This training provides chiropractors with the appropriate skills to understand and treat the problems that they see day-to-day.
